I've been scanning Jeff and Jeff comics in last Monday and a little before (it is Friday today). Today I scanned in the first 17 issues of Stale Pancakes Oldies, replacing the old camera photos of the comics. For main issues that are more important than the ho-hum normal comics, I'm using the standalone comic display method (which is in the miniseries listing, Capture the Flag, of course the standalone comics, etc).

I also added id tags to all the images on SPo and JaJ. I realized that the reason I made Bluntforce was to be a better comic website than Donkubus, and what I don't like about how I used to display stuff like War on Hamsterpenis was that you couldn't link to one page. You had to tell someone where to go, because the War viewer was all javascript. That's why I LEARNED php in the first place. So, now you can link to one page of an issue in, say, Jeff and Jeff, and the link would be something like comic.php?issue=5#page=2. And then all your friends can see exactly what you mean. I'll probably use this for commenting on the longer pages, so I don't have to do what I did on the first Nomo Animals comic.php, and have each page of each issue be a singularly contained series of images on different pages.

Moved comics with more than one issue from the miscellaneous comics page to the brand new miniseries section on the series directory page. Also added specific new categories for metaseries and major series.

I added the comics I made over the last like month and a half, revolving around the nefarious MORGLOR and his attempts to COLLECT ALL THE ROCKS. Also I've been editing some CSS here and there to get the halloween stylesheet up to date with the changes I made over the last year to the main stylesheet.

Dang I forgot about updating the edit log.
I've been working on the website for the last couple days. I added some new comics, scanned some older comics I only had photos for that I took on my phone, and a page for Elmo and Bill, the oldest series I've ever made. I've also been working on the wiki, which is something hidden I'm not making visible yet. Stay tunned!!!!

Improved the look of the comments box, which I've been meaning to do for a whiiiiiile!


This is an example of a comment! These will be found under older comics especially, since you can hardly understand what's even happening in them. In newer comics they'll just point out small details to you like you're a child who can't read intelligently/I'm a child who can't write comprehensive stories.

Also, I added the logo but bigger right on the main page. I was scrolling around and thinking that it didn't feel right, and then I remembered that most wikis would have obligatory welcome text. I don't know why I've forgotten it!?

Added a year for miscellaneous comics that you can see on this page uhhhh ummm i swear i had it ummm right here.
ALSO, finally finished a good icon-based display for lists of comics in series rather than a crappy bulleted list. I worked on it on the Stale Pancakes Oldies page because it is deifnitely the longest so it would be the one to work with that had the most variables to get around, thus making it a more foolproof system. Most images have a certain display, but if they look bad then they'll have a different one to make up for it as is listed in a text file that will be in every directory, and I figured out I had to had a max height for the icons cuz I didn't really think of that at first, et cetera et cetera.

Today I uploaded scans of Skate Dad and Son instead of the terrible phone pictures I had. Now you can see the best series on the website in the highest quality possible!!!!
Switched things around on the home page - the order of the main page content, as well as added a "newest comic" thing.

Added SPORTS., Professor Stache's Semi-Fantastic Tales, Angry Birds vs The Aztec Military, Ranger Rick and Spot Show, El Pepe Storms Skeleton Tower, A Story In 5 Parts, Old Guys vs New Guys, and Untitled Superhero Comic. Changed the title and link font to Bauhaus 93, which is a lovely font imo. It's used in Homestar a lot.

Changed the look of the "Series" page so that it lists each series in a more comprehensible fashion and with the names and descriptions aside of it. In doing this I condensed Stale Pancakes to one index file, and you can go from there obviously, but now all of Stale Pancakes has one main page, which will be convenient when I start archiving stuff that does not fall in the big editions (Oldies, Classic, 6th, 7th, 9th, even Dark or 8th).
Added the standalone comics Stan vs Larry, The Tenth Crusade, Adventures of Caveman Doug, History of the French and Indian War, and Da Odyssey.

Added images of little guys welcoming you to the website up on the top header. I also made the header not transparent at all, and it doesnt' change when you scroll over it. Methinks it was too extraneous. I also made the default non-holiday background just a gradient instead of an image. It was, like, cluttering up the visuals of the site. Made it less focused. I couldn't figure out what the hecking shizz was wrong with the visuals of the website cuz I've been upset with them for a while but I think the gradient is better, and having the little images of the guys up there is nice too imo. Cool stuff!!!!
Also made a height limit on the random comic on the main page so you can't just read the whole thing if it's really long.

Today I decided to work more on the oft-forgotten characters directory, and I accidentally deleted the entire index page. However, I was able to save the local file I had open and had to rewrite some things in it, and in doing so fixed some formatting issues. Added Stale Pancakes Oldies' version of the Slime Uprising arc.

Added the full Halloween theme with its own freaking stylesheet and everything. Added RingAL's comics and some missing Stale Pancakes 6 issues.

Added Jeff and Jeff. Fixed page advancement error in Nomo Animals. Changed PHP printing of the sticky menu to print the whole div instead of printing content inside a written div.
Also removed the righthand table of side info. Looks better now imo....
