Roscoe Sheep is a sheep with lightning powers and dubious mortality. He is a powerful and iconic member of the Stale Pancakes Oldies cast. He does not speak, is older than the other characters, and frequently is used to crush things, et cetera, because of his large size.

I first made Roscoe Sheep as just to be Bob Gote's friend in the pre-Oldies Stale Pancakes comics. This is back when Joe Turtle wore underwear and had breasts, and Bob Gote was a dumb Homestar Runner-type character. He never spoke then, and I never really wanted him to. I made him fat, later, with a pill-shaped head, to resemble Pom-Pom to better match being Bob Gote (Homestar equivelant)'s friend.

It quickly became funny and cool to make the quiet, fat character the cool one. So, Roscoe Sheep became an important member of the universe.

Roscoe Sheep has his humble beginnings on Venus, where he lived with Fat Guy until the pair went off to Earth. This has interesting implications as to both of their in-universe development. Perhaps growing up on Venus rendered them unable to understand English. However, living on Earth so long, surely they could learn, no? Maybe they don't want to. Also, growing up in a place with lower gravity would seperate your bones more, expanding your whole body. Hence, Fat Guy and Roscoe are both fat. There is some question, though, as to how this would change when coming to Earth; also, Roscoe's size is at times shown to be simply his having a lot of wool and not being shorn.

Having come to Earth, Fat Guy gets frozen in ice in 1981 and thus timeskips to 2014. Roscoe Sheep has no such timeskip, and grows up throughout the 80's and to present-day (2014). He does not seem to age a day.

He has not much of a key role in the goings-ons of Willy Sketch's adventures until The Demon shows up in Willy and Rob's Issue #3-4 and sucks everyone's soul out. Bob Gote and Roscoe are both unaffected, implying that they have no mortal soul to be sucked out of their body. This could be because they are mere animals, or because they are something more...

Roscoe is a sheep. His grandparents were born in the mtns, his parents were born in the forest, and he was born in PCW. He (we know for sure) was born from mutant animals.

Apparently, he lived w/ Fat Guy on Venus until they built a sattelite and rocketed to Earth, in 1981.

Roscoe owns a wierd windshield-less car.

Roscoe is immortal and SOUL-less.

Roscoe starred in the Xmas Holiday Movie, as himself/Lil' Sheep Dragon.

Roscoe can compress a ketchup bottle w/ his hands so hard it cracks clean in half.

Roscoe, Joe, and Bill Pumpkin built the Armory 3. in their Treehouse.

Roscoe has a son named Roscoe, Jr. or "Fluffo". It's unknown who the mother is. [this one is from a now non-canon comic, Willy and Rob's Issue #11]
