There are many derivative characters that look like Fat Guy from Stale Pancakes.
Mulligan from Mulligan and Duck Joe is pretty obviously a thin version of Fat Guy. His personality differs of course, but he looks like him and his weapon is, of course, the Shovel of Truth, reminiscent of Fat Guy's digging proclivities.
James is a child character who appears in the Sunday School Episode of SP9. He comes to Sunday School show-and-tell with his pumpkin, Bill. I suppose it's clear that James cares about this Bill; it's ambiguous if this Bill is THE Bill Pumpkin, given that it is seemingly a small pumpkin yet on the vine and the issue prior has a different origin story for Bill.
Strong Caleb is another child Fat Guy character appearing in Untitled Superhero Comic, alongside the Paladin, Mike the ostrich, Papa Shmordel, and Professor Stache. He gets onto the superhero team by saying he's strong. THAT'S ABOUT IT!
